5 minute peachy eye + a giveaway

I have never been an expert in the world of beauty products but my sister-in-law is, so I turn to her for all things makeup related. She’s a big fan of Too Faced and for years I heard bloggers like Caitlin Covington rave about the brand’s popular Better Than Sex Mascara before finally taking the plunge and trying it for myself. There’s been no looking back, y’all. I promise you will not see similar results from any drug store mascara- this one is simply the best! Too Faced also has a new Peaches & Cream Collection including the “Just Peachy Matte Eyeshadow Palette” being sold exclusively at Sephora and Sephora inside JCPenney. I stopped in our Sephora inside JCPenney the other day and the Too Faced products were so easy to find- there’s a huge section and I wanted it all. But for now, I want to show y’all how I create an easy “5 Minute Peachy Eye” using only 3 of my favorite Too Faced products. It’s simple to recreate and what I love most about these 3 products is they can be used for any occasion (aka you’ll get your money’s worth).

Step 1 is applying the Shadow Insurance Eye Primer – Long lasting, concentrated eyeshadow primer that locks down eye shadows, intensifying color to ensure water-, crease-, and fade-proof coverage for up to 24 hours. The ultra-lightweight, colorless formula that is free of parabens, sulfates, fragrances and dye and glides effortlessly onto lids, leaving a smooth, even canvas for your next look!

I dab a little on my index finger and smooth it over each eyelid, then absorb for about a minute before moving to the next step. If I forget to apply the primer, my eyeshadow is noticeably less/faded by the end of the day.

Step 2 is the really fun part- using a small makeup brush, start at the inner eye and work your way across the lower half of the eyelid using the “Peach Butter” shadow. For the top part of the lid, start with the “Peach Cobbler” shadow and use “Just Ripe” across the center crease. To make your brows really pop, apply the “Peach Meringue” thinly across right under each brow.

Just Peachy Matte Eye Shadow Palette – Blendable matte velvety shades that are infused with peach and sweet fig cream, ingredients known to be packed with vitamins and antioxidants. This palette contains 12 matte shades of buttery creams, peaches and browns to provide you with endless, quick looks for every occasion.

Step 3 is applying the Better Than Sex Mascara to your top and bottom lashes. I do two coats on top and one coat on bottom.

Better Than Sex Mascara – Achieve extreme volume and a more dramatic look with each coat of this collagen-fueled formula for lashes that are full, defined and stretched to unbelievable lengths. The Hourglass-Shaped brush unlocks the paraben-free formula to create the perfect mascara that volumizes, lifts and coats both tops and bottoms of every little lash—with no lash left behind.

On this particular day, I did this routine in the morning for an everyday look that’s easy but looks like I spent a lot more than 5 minutes on my eyes. That evening, I had a photo shoot so I added one more coat of mascara up top and blended in the “Peach Sangria” shadow to add a little more of an evening wear look. It was perfect! These colors are so rich and complimentary for all eye colors, you can totally skip the liner and it will make your eyes really pop.
