friendsgiving
I recently attended my first ever Friendsgiving with girlfriends and it was such a beautiful and fun event that I wanted to share on the blog! My friend Jessica hosted in her home and everything was absolute perfection- from the food to the decor. Endless MacKenzie-Childs pieces, a table-setting that looked like something out of a Hallmark movie, and melt-in-your-mouth mashed potatoes. Pair all of that with good girlfriends and it was such a special afternoon.
Oh, and did I mention Shelbi styled us for the day? I love all of the outfits she chose and how she combined comfort with trends. If you’re looking for last minute Thanksgiving or holiday inspiration I hope you’ll find it below!

I told you guys it was beautiful! Thank you to Jess and Shelb for putting together such a fun and festive gathering. I haven’t hopped not he Mackenzie-Childs train yet but I’m thinking I need to ask Santa for the famous tea kettle this year. If you own any of the pieces, I’d love to hear what you have and what’s on your wishlist! Jess actually attended a Mackenzie-Childs retreat in Aurora, NY recently and got to make her own piece, which is why her salad bowl isn’t in stores. Jess has nothing but good things to say about her experience and the entire MC team which makes me want to start my collection even more.
We are currently in Sweetwater and very excited to celebrate Thanksgiving with family. We have had a busy week because having two birthday parties for Bear (one with friends/one here with cousins), driving 8 hours from Houston, going to Zach’s sister’s play, and lots in between. Both Bear and Boone were sick during the night last night so we’re hoping it was just a quick bug and they’ll be back to normal soon.
I’ll be back soon with Black Friday sales- is anyone else ready to shop till they drop?! Looks like there are going to be some really good ones this year and I’ll share them all here!
xo, Britt
