gifts from the grandparents

We have a few guest appearances on the blog today…

photos by Ban Avenue Photography

About a month ago, my parents came to Houston and we filmed a fun project with Pottery Barn Kids. I wanted to share some of the photos here on the blog because it was such a fun morning! My parents got to spoil the boys with some new items from Pottery Barn Kids and most all of them are on sale right now for Black Friday (with free shipping!). I thought it would be fun to share some of what they got the boys, in case any grandparents are reading here and need gift ideas!

For Boone:
Gray Cozy Sherpa Anywhere Chair- I’ve wanted to get one of these chairs for Boone for over a year and am so glad he got one! I’m actually thinking of getting Bear one now because they both fight over it!
Shaped Dino Sleeping Bag- So cute, cozy, and perfect for everything from cousin sleepovers to a Mother’s Day Out “nap mat”.
Fawn Plush Nursery Rocker- My favorite of all is this precious fawn rocker. Boone is obsessed and I love how neutral and unique this rocker is.
Dinosaur Pajamas- Both boys got these and I love that the sizes vary enough that they can match. They also glow in the dark!
Personalized Tool Box- SO cute and on sale for $30. Boone has had so much fun playing with this set.

For Bear:
Toy Story Sleeping Bag- Bear has never owned an actual sleeping bag and it was about time. He was so excited when he saw this Toy Story one with his name on it.
My Adventure Gray Luggage- I actually fell in love with this luggage when I saw it and wanted it for both boys. It’s so classic and durable, and a great size for both road trips and a flight carry on bag.
World’s Smallest Walkie Talkies- Bear thinks these are so cool and they are! $15 with free shipping, these would be a great gift for kids of all ages.
Minecraft Anywhere Bean Bag- Bear is into Minecraft these days and thinks this bean bag is basically the coolest thing ever. Also on sale!

Thank you to my sweet parents for being such good sports about this project. It was a special one and now we’re happy to be home seeing family for Thanksgiving. I’ll be back later in the week sharing Black Friday sales!
