baby medicine cabinet must-haves for winter

It’s that time of year, the time when both of my boys seem to catch everything and constantly have the sniffles. I like to be prepared and have everything we need for the colder months ahead so that when symptoms hits, we can nip it in the bud right away. Now that Bear is 7 years old, we have some experience under our belt in the sickness department (and baby brother catches all the things). Sharing our medicine cabinet must-haves, all available online at Walmart, below!

Baby Medicine Must-Haves for Winter:
1.
Baby Ayr Saline- Just take my word for it and pick this up for your little(s). This came recommended from our pediatrician and it helps flush out Boone’s sinuses so much.
2.
Kleenex- An obvious choice but a smart one to stock up on for the whole family!
3.
Wellements Organic Baby Cough & Mucus Syrup- We have been using Wellements brand for years and I love that it’s organic, comes in glass bottles, and truly works.
4.
Vicks VapoRub- My Mom used this on me when I was a baby and now I use it on both of my boys. The best way to ensure they get some sleep with a cold/congestion.
5.
Johnson’s Safety Swabs- Stock up while these are on sale!
6.
Wellements Organic Baby Move- A best-seller for a reason. If your baby is constipated, you need this stuff. Brings a constipated little one so much relief!
7.
Enfamil PolyViSol with Iron- Both of my boys have been recommended this vitamin supplement by the pediatrician. It’s a great supplement when transitioning to solid foods, during growth spurts and for picky eaters.
8.
Hyland’s Baby Tiny Cold Tablets- Boone takes these so much easier than liquid medicine and they really help a cold, especially runny nose.
9.
Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer- We’ve gone through at least 5 thermometers over the years and I can honestly say this is the only one that consistently works. We don’t take a trip without it and it’s a staple in our medicine cabinet.
10.
Wellements Organic Probiotic Gripe Water- Best cure for a fussy baby, especially with gas or hiccups. This helps Boone’s tummy so much, especially we give it at night to aid his sleep.

Walmart is always our one-stop-shop for all things baby, and even more so during the holidays. Whether it comes to clothes, toys, food, or anything in between, I love the convenience of grabbing everything we need online at Walmart. Now that the weather has gotten cold in Texas, I appreciate all the perks of online shopping even more. Getting my babies out in the cold is not my idea of fun, especially if we’re just running in the store for a couple things like diapers and the never-ending coffee their Mommy needs :).
I hope this has been a help to some of you and I hope even more that you all stay well this winter! It’s good to be prepared just in case, but I hope you and your littles have a healthy, special holiday season.
xo, Britt
