current mom life

Truthfully, this is #momlife all the time. Am I right, mamas? There are just a lot more snuggles happening now that we’re all home 24/7 and I’m totally okay with that. Yes, some days are harder than others. But we’re extremely blessed to be healthy, safe, and home together right now. I know so many have it worse off and my prayers are with anyone who is struggling right now. If that’s you, please reach out to me with any way I can help. Truly, we’re always looking for ways to do our part during this time of need for so many.

I don’t have a lot to say today- just wanted to check in on you guys. How are you doing? It’s such a weird, scary time and while I’d like to think life will eventually return to normal, I’m not sure when that will be. In the meantime, I’m trying to still get dressed/ready every day because that’s what makes me feel most like myself. It’s tempting to stay in pajamas all day but when I do, I don’t feel that great. Anyone else relate? Comfy maxi dresses like this one are my jam right now (this one is even more comfortable than my pjs TBH).

I’m going to start swapping out the weekly Save vs. Splurge posts for recipes and will be sharing one recipe a week for awhile. Now that we’re all home and cooking more, it seems like a good time to share some of our favorites. Everything will be easy with limited ingredients, of course, because I’m no Betty Crocker. Are you guys tired of cooking yet? Have you been trying new recipes?
Sending you a big hug <3
