10 snacks to try right now
Most of us are home more than ever right now (thank you to all the essential workers who are not). For me, that means lots more snacking; I don’t know about you guys. We’ve tried to branch out and try new recipes and snack foods during this time, because why not? Sharing some of our favorites below!

Of course we should all stick to snacking on fruits/veggies and high protein foods as much as possible. But I believe in everything in moderation, so here are some fun snack foods you may not have tried yet. Most are actually pretty healthy.
1. Justin’s Organic Almond Butter Covered Almonds- If I’m not careful, I can eat this entire bag in one sitting (pretty much the norm with everything on this list, though). Somewhat guilt-free yet rich and delicious.
2. Kettle Brand Potato Chips, 100% Avocado Oil Chili Lime- If you have a craving for something salty, these are a heart-healtheir option than normal potato chips but just as yummy. I don’t like super spicy things, but the chili lime flavor adds just the right amount of citrusy kick.
3. Safe & Fair Popcorn- You haven’t lived until you’ve tried the birthday cake popcorn from Safe & Fair. I consider myself somewhat of a popcorn/kettle corn connoisseur and this ranks top of the charts for me. There are no artificial ingredients so don’t have to feel guilty indulging.
4. Tomato Basil Harvest Snaps- Honestly I love all Harvest Snaps and have been obsessed for years. They’re actually one of the few foods I could tolerate when I had morning sickness with Boone. If you’re a first timer, get this variety pack and try them all. I love the lightly salted original flavor but Tomato Basil will knock your socks off.
5. High Key Chocolate Chip Cookies- I know no sugar added cookies sound risky, but trust me on this one. There’s a reason these cookies have almost 11,000 4.5 star reviews on Amazon. They taste so much like Famous Amos but without the guilt.
6. Brookside Dark Chocolate Candy, Acai and Blueberry- I used to buy these at Target for years and I’m glad they’re available on Amazon now. I’m not normally a big dark chocolate fan but I love these. and just a handful is really satisfying.
7. Fisher Snack Tex Mex Trail Mix- I’ve been eating this for years and it’s BOMB, you guys. Not too spicy but still gives some kick. Not really healthy but does have nuts so not all bad. You won’t be able to put this stuff down.
8. Nature’s Bakery Double Chocolate Brownie- If you love brownies, this is a good way to induldge in a healthier version of the traditional treat. You’d never know it, though, because these are so rich and decadent. I love snacking on them after dinner for an easy dessert.
9. Seapoint Farms Sea Salt Dry Roasted Edamame- We love edamame around here and were so excited to try it dry roasted a few months ago. We’ve been hooked ever since. A little pricey but this jar will last awhile. Also super heart healthy and good source of protein.
10. ParmCrisps Original Cheese Crackers- I was a little skeptical of these but it turns out they’re so good. They’re oven-baked and have the flavor of a rich parmesan cheese but with the crunch of a cracker. You have to try them if you haven’t!
What are you currently snacking on?
