Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
It’s HERE! Our favorite sale of the year, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. By here, I mean the sale starts tomorrow (technically today since I’m burning the midnight oil) for Icon Status Card Members. I’ll be shopping the sale myself as soon as I can, and plan to add a lot of try-on photos to this post soon. For now, I wanted to get some collages up to help those who get to shop the sale first. A lot of these items have been predicted to sell out, and some have been best sellers the past 4 years I’ve covered the sale. I’m honestly shocked that this tunic is still in stock in all sizes. It’s so good, y’all! A lot of these photos from the website just don’t do items justice (nor do my photos, which is why I’m blabbing so much). The website says this tunic runs big but I find it true to size and got my normal XS.
If you purchase one thing from the sale, make it these leggings. There are dupes that I love, but nothing compares to the quality of Spanx (they will last you for years). They also only go on sale this low now and Black Friday. Size up one- I wear small petite.
These are my favorite booties of the sale. I own several pair of Marc Fisher boots and they’re truly so comfortable. They fit true to size but if you’re in between, size up.
This Tory Burch bag is gorgeous in person and such a great price. Have a feeling it will be gone quickly.

Same tunic styled a different way. This skirt is so much more comfortable than you can tell here; it’s stretchy, and a thin denim that hugs your curves. High waisted, flattering, and fits true to size. I messed up and said I’m in a size 0 on Instagram (sorry, y’all!) but I have my true size 25.
My booties are from last year but here is this year’s version. Size up 1/2 size.

This cardigan is always a top seller and it’s still fully stocked in this color. I love the soft pink that still feels neutral but mixes things up a little. It’s super soft material, I love wearing these both around the house and out (back when we could go “out”). I have XS.
These jeans are a great pair of classic denim for under $50. They have a tummy control panel waist which I love, and they’re more mid-rise than high-rise. I have my true size 0.

I’m bummed this Topshop cardigan sold out but I’ll watch for restocks and update if it becomes available.
This leopard tee is so much better in person than it looks here. It’s incredibly soft+stretchy, a great length, and just feels high-end quality without the price tag. I want it in snakeskin print, too. I got a size small.

I own these tees in several colors from years past and they’re always some of my favorites, especially for layering. I’m in size small in the tee and size XS in the joggers. I plan to also dress the joggers up with a sweater and booties this fall.

This photo doesn’t do this sweater justice at all. It’s lightweight, really soft, and long enough that it would cover the bum with leggings. I’m in XS.
I fell in love with these jeans. They’re so comfortable, have great stretch, and feel really flattering on. I got my true size 25.
I didn’t plan to buy these mules, but they ended up coming home with me. Be sure and size up a half size- I got a size 6 1/2 and I’m normally a 6. I didn’t know how much they would match, but you’re going to see them styled with some more casual looks in this post. They’re very versatile and seem easy to dress up or down.

Sadly this tee is sold out in leopard (will update if there’s a restock) but it’s still available in 6 color options. I also grabbed it in camo and stripe. I sized up to a small so it would be long enough to wear with leggings.
I hate using the term obsessed, but I am obsessed with this moto jacket. I bought last year’s version and I wish I’d waited because I like this year’s better. It’s such a great deal for the price and can be worn so many ways.
I have owned these leggings for years and they’re some of my favorites. I even wore them all through both pregnancies (sized up to small). I wear size XS; they suck you in without being too tight if you know what I mean.

The Free People sweater we’ve all come to know and love is definitely worth the hype. It’s a heavy knit (not itchy at all) but super warm if you live somewhere cold. I didn’t end up taking it home because I already own it in orange and don’t get a lot of wear out of it in Houston heat. I’m in size small. You don’t need to wear anything under it- it’s a little see-through up top but not anywhere else (a nude bra works fine).

I think this is my favorite outfit that I got from the sale. I’m disappointed this top sold out online because it’s such a great layering piece. If I’m able to add the link later, I’m in an XS in the top.
This is the same moto jacket as pictured above in black. It’s truly so good and this cognac color is even prettier in person. Size XS.

This tunic is one of my favorite things I picked up from the sale. It’s incredibly soft and the perfect weight for Houston fall/winter weather. I also love to layer vests over tunics like this. I’m in size XS.
Y’all already know how much I love my Spanx leggings. For years I wondered if they were really worth it, and then the past two years I’ve worn them probably way too much. Be sure and size up; I get size small and prefer the short length (I’m 5’3 1/2 and wearing regular length here).

I wasn’t sure if I needed another grey top (#IDont) but I added this one to the collection anyway because the quality is amazing for the price and I know I’ll get a ton of wear out of it. I’m in an XS and it’s long enough to work with leggings. It has good stretch as well.
I first tried Wit & Wisdom ab-solution jeans last year and became hooked. They have this elastic waistband that gives great tummy control and are buttery soft. I’m in a size 0 and highly recommend these for a good classic staple jean.

I bought this cardigan last year during the sale and have gotten a ton of wear out of it. The oatmeal color matches everything and I like the medium weight of the knit.

These tees are the softest of any I found in the sale and come in 4 colors. They say v-neck, but they’re more of a scoop neck. If you’re all about comfort, these tees will be your jam.
These jeans are amazing. I honestly loved all 3 of the pair I tried on in store. This pair looks low rise here but it’s more mid-rise. They didn’t have my size 25 in store so I’m in a 26 here, but they fit true to size.

I also want to note that I’ve only included items that I truly feel are a good deal. I noticed a few things from the sale, especially higher-end items, can be found cheaper elsewhere. I never want to encourage y’all to buy something unless I know it’s a bargain, and I feel everything listed above is a good deal this season.
I always try and stock up on basics during the Anniversary sale; some of the pieces I bought 5 or 6 years ago, I still find myself pulling out every fall and winter. I also typically only cover women’s clothing/shoes/accessories, but there’s so much more out there if you’re in need of anything for your guy, kids, baby, etc. Several of my friends have bought car seats during the Anniversary Sale and say it’s a great time to do so. I just get a bit overwhelmed and there’s so much that I could cover, maybe one day I can share more.
