cookies for Santa kit
I’m a little late to the party on this post, but let’s just choose to see it a positive light. I’m really early to the party for Christmas 2022. Just roll with it, please.
I meant to share this post sooner but got caught up in all things holiday and neglected the blog a bit. I’m planning to be a better scheduled blogger in the new year, but we shall see about that. I still need to sit down and write 2022 goals. Thinking I want to make vision boards with the boys; we’ve never done it before but I think it’s time!
In early December, I attended a fabulous holiday party and wanted to give the hostess a thoughtful gift. She has two little boys, and I knew they could get some use out of this…
A trip to Homegoods and a “Cookies for Santa Kit” was born. The possibilities are endless with this, but I love the idea of gifting it in a measuring bowl. A few ideas for items to put in a Cookies for Santa Kit:
-cookie mix
-sprinkles
-oven mitt
-parchment paper/foil
-rolling pin
-festive mug
-marshmallows
-chocolate chips
-apron
-spatula
-wooden spoon
-cookie cutters
-cute kitchen timer
I’m already thinking of making these kits for several of our friends next year, and even surprising Bear and Boone with one. They’re really easy and fun!
I hope you’re enjoying these glorious days between Christmas and New Years, when the day of the week is always in question and the house is always a mess. Long live these beautiful, lazy days.
