Happy 2022, friends! It’s honestly so weird typing that; I think it’s the first time I’ve actually written (technically typed) out the year 2022. Wasn’t I just wishing y’all a happy 2020?! And not that much has happened between then and now. Except of course this crazy pandemic. Here’s hoping 2022 brings us better luck than the last two years did. What’s a good book you’ve read lately? I need to start something new. I really enjoyed The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. It’s historical fiction but was inspired by a true story. The Nightingale is about two sisters in France during World War II and their struggle to survive and resist the German occupation of France. It’s a beautifully written book that you won’t want to put down.
