save vs. splurge: home edit.

I don’t know about you, but every January I start wanting to refresh our home. It’s likely because of the emptiness our house fills with after all the holiday decor is stored away; there’s something about a clean, fresh palette that I find inspiring. Of course January isn’t the most splurge-worthy time, so I try to find “the look for less”. Why not save a few bucks when the look is pretty much identical?!

I’m trying (emphasis on trying) to incorporate a little more color into our home for spring. It’s not easy for me, as I always gravitate toward neutrals when it comes to home decor. But lately I’ve been loving spring decor with pops of blue especially. I know, I know, it’s only mid-January, Brittany. Winter is still in full force. After Christmas I go straight into spring break mode and I can’t help it. Anyone else?
