Tax Prep with H&R Block
It’s that time of the year- time to start thinking about getting taxes done. While I know it can be stressful, we’ve used H&R Block for several years and honesty prefer it to TurboTax that we used before (H&R is also always cheaper than TurboTax!). This is my first year filing taxes for Hello Honey LLC and I’ve been very excited/nervous about the process. I’m proud of my side-hustle turned business but I’m not always great at the numbers side of things. Thankfully, filing taxes has been a breeze so far and I’m almost done. Whether you prefer to do taxes online or in person, H&R Block has you covered. I personally prefer the ease of doing them from home or a cozy coffee shop, especially since H&R Block Online offers unlimited help (from an actual human being) at your fingertips! This is one of my favorite and most-used features as it always helps to speak to an expert about all my questions (I always have a lot of questions!). You’ll speak to either a tax expert, enrolled agent, or CPA who will guide you through the process.
H&R Block also offers Screen Sharing, so you can show exactly where you need help. You’ll never feel like you’re going through the process alone, which is reassuring to someone like me who doesn’t really know what they’re doing. I will say I feel more confident in my tax prep knowledge now than I did even just a few days ago. H&R Block’s digital experiences make it easy to do your own taxes. From the MyBlock web portal and app to H&R Block Online Assist, it’s a breeze to file your taxes and build your financial confidence.
If you’ve used another service in years past, it’s easy to make the switch over. Just use H&R Block’s “drag and drop” option, no matter who prepared your tax return last year.
Taxes don’t have to be a stressful, weeks-long process. I love the ease of dropping the boys off at school and spending a few hours in the coffee shop knocking out this task.
