Several weeks ago, I shared the news that I was hired as a professional stylist with Snap+Style. I didn't, however, really explain much about the job or app itself. When I first heard about Snap+Style from the consumer end, I thought it seemed too good to be true. So basically I can download this app, FOR FREE, and a real legit personal stylist will help me put together outfits? And talk to me in real-time, giving me hair and make-up tips too? I was a skeptic for sure. So, before I was ever hired on as a stylist myself, I downloaded the app to see what it was all about.

I created my profile within a couple minutes; there I had the option to choose things like my preferred color palette, budget, and go-to brands. I didn't have any particular requests, so I got out of the app and didn't think much more about it. Two days later, I got a notification that Jill Jacobs, a professional stylist on the app, had designed an outfit for me based on my profile. And y'all, she nailed it. Her message to me was so sweet and personal that I felt as if she had really taken a lot of time to create an outfit I would love. At that moment, I knew I was hooked. This app is unlike anything else out there; where else can you take a picture of a pair of shoes in your closet and have a professional wardrobe stylist put together an outfit styled around those shoes? And if you happen to not like the outfit? No worries, your stylist will make changes based on your feedback until you're satisfied. Now that's customer service.

It was a dream come true for me to be hired on as a stylist, and I still pinch myself when I'm working because I forget that I'm actually getting paid to do something that I love. Snap+Style is a very new app, as it just launched last October. It's already seen tremendous growth and continues to update based on consumer needs and development. In case my explanation has made absolutely no sense at all, which is a high possibility, you can read more about Snap+Style in this People StyleWatch article and this Vanity Fair article. Their research and reviews are spot on, plus they have pretty pictures. We all love pretty pictures.

So the next time you're invited to a wedding and have absolutely no clue what to wear, download the Snap+Style app here and get the free help of a professional stylist! And when you get compliments at the wedding, you can smile and say "Thank you, my stylist picked it out for me". You've got nothing to lose, and a really great closet to gain.
