I squealed with delight like a child on Christmas morning earlier when I realized the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale is in full swing. This sale is always crazy good and everything sells out pretty fast, so you have to act quickly if you want to get your size. I could've added so much more to this list so be sure and scour the website for treasures!

Yesterday was an eventful day. I woke up early and got some work done, then Bear and I made the seven hour drive back home to Houston with only one pitstop. I'm very proud to announce that Bear is officially completely potty-trained; I worried he'd have an accident while we were away from home for several days but he did amazing. Proud momma! I mean, he's only three and a half, so he's ahead of the curve, right? ;)

After we got home, I went to a local beauty boutique in Old Town Spring called Beauty Essentials for my first ever spray tan. Even though I'm not camera shy, I'm very modest when it comes to my body. I had no idea I was gonna have to get naked for the technician, and I honestly almost sneaked out after she told me to undress and put on a towel. As I waited there in the square pop-up tent, I kept thinking, "Maybe if you just say your husband called and there's an emergency, you can run out and she won't be mad". But the lady came in before I had time to fully develop my plan and I was forced to go through with the spray tan. It actually came out pretty well, despite the fact that I thought I was gonna get hypothermia during the process and now resemble an Oompa Loompa. To top it all off, the whole reason I got the spray tan- a swimsuit shoot scheduled for this morning- got rained out. And I got caught in the rain and started melting an orange juice looking substance all over the place. I'm not sure if I'll get another spray tan but it's definitely been an experience I won't forget.

It's getting late and there's a little wiggle worm in the bed beside me who keeps kicking my computer; think that's my sign to close the laptop. Goodnight! Have a great Memorial Day Weekend!
