valentine's day outfits

Here I am, behind on pictures/posts again! These photos were taken almost two months ago so as you can guess, I don't look much like this anymore. Baby Boy has grown quite a bit, especially with the holiday season and all the yummy food that comes along with it. Speaking of yummy food, we've been "snowed" (more like iced) in here in Houston for the past two days and this mama has some serious cabin fever. I've been craving Olive Garden breadsticks (dipped in alfredo sauce- how else?!) and we are finally gonna venture out for them tonight. I plan on coming home entirely too full and binge-watching more Bravo TV. I've spent the majority of the past couple days catching up on the entire season so far of Vanderpump Rules...such a guilty pleasure but I've officially been sucked in per usual. Anyone else a shameless fan?

I know it may seem a little early to share Valentine's Day outfit inspiration but honestly, the holiday is going to creep up on us. It's less than a month away so it never hurts to go ahead and order things now! I try to start wearing Valentine's stuff (and putting Bear in it) right when February starts because if it has hearts plastered all over it, the window of wearing opportunity is small and I want to take full advantage. Some of you may not even consider Valentine's Day a holiday but any excuse to dress up and I'm in! Z and I may not have an actual date night this year so if we're stuck eating frozen Trader Joe's chicken alfredo at home (there are worse things), I at least want to feel cute doing it. Which is why I'm including some comfy, festive outfit options too aside from the normal date night attire:

COMFY AT HOME:

DATE NIGHT:

I'd love to hear- what are your typical Valentine's Day plans? Do you stay in and have a candlelit dinner at home with your hubby or boyfriend? Go to the movies? Have Galentine's with the girls? I'd like to plan something fun for Z and I this year, even if it's just a "date" at home, so please share!!
