I wear a lot of dresses but every once in a while I find one that steals my heart and this little mint number happened to do just that. I feel like it embraces my inner 60's go-go dancer and the floral detail is even prettier in person. Not that I have any kind of dance moves but if I did, I'd definitely do them in this dress. If you have a summer or even fall wedding to attend, this dress would be perfect (it's also currently on sale)!

We've had a pretty uneventful weekend around here which happen to be my favorite kind; Bear keeps sunburning every time we're outside for very long and so he has it in his head he doesn't wanna go outside and burn. I feel like the worst mom ever! I got sunscreen recommendations from moms in our playgroup because we've had this problem all summer and I feel like I've tried every type on the market- none of them work and his cheeks are burned every time we go to the pool or water park. I also reapply ever 1-2 hours, so I know that's not the problem. I'm not sure what to do at this point besides keep trying and put Bear in a cap, so if you have any miracle sunscreen products PLEASE share them with us! I don't want my little boy to be afraid of going outside because it's normally his favorite place!

While our weekend was somewhat uneventful, our Friday afternoon unfortunately was not. It was awful, actually. We lost Bear's pet hamster, Hammy, and are all pretty devastated. I won't get into details but I am primarily to blame, so of course I'm feeling a lot of guilt over the loss of our first family pet. Hammy was the sweetest hamster- he never bit anyone, not once, even when it was deserved. To quote Zach, he was "one in a million". RIP our sweet, cute little Hammy. We love and miss you already. You were the best first pet to Bear and you'll be in our hearts always.
