I know spring has already sprung, but I didn't want the season to entirely pass us by without creating a bucket list to try and conquer! If you're new around here, this is something I try and do every season to give our family some fun ideas and new things to try. My parents were all about traditions in our family growing up and I want to do the same for Bear and Boone- I want them to have certain activities and special outings they look forward to each holiday and season. I try to think outside of the box but sometimes good old fashioned fun is the best way to go. We've already marked a few of these off the list (#4, 6, & 14) but I included them anyway because I always print out our list and put it on the fridge; Bear loves marking things off as we do them. Future list-maker like his mama? ;)
Spring Bucket List:
1. have a picnic in the park
2. go to the zoo
3. fly a kite
4. dye Easter eggs
5. have a beach day at Galveston
6. visit a farmer's market
7. pick strawberries at Atkinson Farms
8. create our own smoothie recipe
9. draw with sidewalk chalk
10. go to a new museum
11. eat strawberry shortcake
12. go to storytime at the library
13. hunt for bugs (with Daddy)
14. pick wildflowers
15. do some spring cleaning
16. make homemade play dough
17. grill out
18. take a family hike at the nature preserve
19. go fishing
20. read books outside
Zach took Bear and Dasher to the nature preserve near our house which is Bear's favorite thing in the world to do. Boone and I are enjoying the peace and quiet and I'm getting ready to start a new book, Wanderful. The author is a new friend and I can already tell it will be a great, easy read that will have me so excited for summer. Proud of you, Andi!
What is on your spring bucket list? I'd love to hear- we're always looking for new fun things to do!
