back to school with walmart

I can’t believe Bear starts school in just over 4 weeks. I thought the summer would drag (because it’s felt like summer since March) but it’s actually flown by. Given how crazy 2020 has been, we wanted to really make sure the boys are really excited to start school (whatever that may look like) and feel the normalcy of back-to-school shopping. I’ve ordered most of their clothes and shoes from Walmart the past few years, but this year they are most pumped about their new backpacks. These boys are ready!

Bear’s outfit | Spongebob sneakers | blue sneakers | Fortnite backpack
Boone’s shirt | shorts | black sneakers | blue sneakers | Baby Shark backpack 5 piece set
my dress | sneakers | denim jacket

We love shopping at Walmart for all things back to school because the prices are low but the quality is great. Bear’s outfit is a two piece set and on sale for just $14, and his Spongebob sneakers are on sale for $12. It seems like every time I go to order the boys a new pair of shoes, I have to order a size up. They’re growing so fast and it’s bittersweet! All the more reason to find cute yet inexpensive shoes for their growing feet.

Boone is obsessed with his Baby Shark backpack- so much so that he fell asleep with it the other day. The 5 piece set is $16 and I love that the lunchbox snaps onto the front of the backpack. I can’t get over his new black sneakers that look like a designer pair for a fraction of the price. We truthfully aren’t sure if Boone will be heading back to Mother’s Day Out this fall or not, but he loves feeling like a big boy and doing everything big brother does. When Boone does start back, he’ll be all set!

I ordered all this and more last Thursday, and it arrived by Monday. It’s easy to score free shipping on $35 at Walmart because there are always things we need that I can add to cart.
Getting ready for school to start has given us all something to look forward to, and I’m thankful for that. Whatever back to school looks like for you and your kids this year, I hope you can enjoy the process.
xo, Britt
